Originally from Baton Rouge, Jason’s passion for photography and graphic design eventually led him to a career as Marketing Director for a non-profit. From there he focused his efforts on woodworking, earning a degree in fine woodworking from Red Rocks Community College. Combining his love for traditional craft and digital technology he went on to teach classes in chair design and furniture building in addition to mentoring students in Rhino software design.

In the shop, Jason facilitates the use of modern technology alongside traditional woodworking techniques to make everything from custom furniture to large-scale casework and high-end architectural features. His hard-working persona, positivity and broad range of skills make him a valuable asset as Raw Creative’s fabrication shop manager.

When Jason can find free-time aside from raising his 5 kids, 6 chickens and 2 golden retrievers (Argus and Boudreaux) you can most likely find him catching a bluegrass show, working on house projects or hitting the slopes.
