Custom Staircases by Raw Creative
One Point of Contact. Full Stair Scope
We take full ownership of the stair—from early design assist through fabrication and installation—resolving it before it reaches the field so it comes together on budget and true to the design.

The raw Creative difference
-
We get involved early to help define the stair before it affects schedule, cost, or coordination.
We work through layout, structure, materials, and installation up front so the system is clear before fabrication begins.
-
We look at constructability alongside design intent, aligning structure, materials, and detailing with real project constraints.
This helps establish clear budget ranges and reduces the need for value engineering later.
-
We fabricate custom stair systems in steel, wood, and hybrid assemblies, developed specifically for each project.
Everything is built with installation in mind, so alignment, tolerances, and sequencing are accounted for before it reaches the field.
-
We handle installation as part of a fully defined system, not as a separate phase.
With key details resolved early, field work is reduced, coordination is simpler, and the stair installs cleanly
CUSTOM STAIRCASE FAQS
WHAT KIND OF STAIR SYSTEMS CAN YOU DO?
We design and fabricate custom stair systems, including mono stringer, plate steel, spiral, floating tread, and steel + wood hybrid assemblies.
Each project is developed as a one-off solution based on layout, structure, and design intent—not from a standard catalog.
WHAT MATERIALS AND FINISHES DO YOU WORK WITH?
We work with steel, wood, concrete, glass, and mixed-material stair assemblies. Common finishes include hand-blackened steel, custom patinas, powder coating, custom wood finishes, and specialty GFRC (glass fiber–reinforced concrete).
Material and finish direction is defined early to align with design intent, constructability, and installation.
Do you fabricate and install staircases?
Yes. We handle both fabrication and installation as a coordinated scope.
We use verified site conditions to align structure, fabrication, and installation tolerances—ensuring a precise fit and a clean, efficient installation.
What are typical lead times for a custom staircase?
Lead times vary based on scope and complexity.
Early engagement allows us to define accurate timelines and avoid delays caused by coordination or redesign.
When should we bring you into a project?
The earlier, the better.
This allows us to help define the stair system, align with the structure, and provide budget and constructability input before details are locked in. Early involvement reduces revisions and prevents issues later in the project.
What does design assist include?
Design assist is where we take a partially defined stair and develop it into a clear, buildable system.
We look at structure, materials, and installation early on to work through key details and remove uncertainty before fabrication begins.
We coordinate closely with the project team, using real site conditions to guide decisions and identify constraints upfront so the stair can be fabricated efficiently and installed cleanly, without losing the original design intent.
Have a stair that isn’t fully resolved?
Send drawings or reach out—we’ll help define a clear direction.
